She had almost drunk her drink, but she wouldn't dare ask for another one. It was getting dark and the terrace had emptied of people. On other days she herself would be home by now, ready for dinner and sleep. She glanced once more at the empty corner she had been keeping an eye on all evening. She sighed and then rested her hands on the arms of the chair to get up. She drank what was left in the glass, looked around the corner once more, and prepared to leave. Who knows, maybe tomorrow the person she wanted to see will come. Who knows, maybe one day she will dare to ask that person a date...
